11/11/2024: W. Meetinghouse Rd will be CLOSED to all traffic Mon – Fri from 6:30am to 5pm starting November 11th and ending on November 22nd. Detour routes will be the same as the previous closure utilizing Aspetuck Ridge Rd and Long Mtn Rd.
Closure signs will be placed at the intersections of Merryall Rd/Long Mtn Rd and W. Meetinghouse Rd/Aspetuck Ridge Rd. Vehicles can proceed by those intersections (ie: access to Carl’s Ln from Aspetuck Ridge Rd only) but will NOT be able to get through the area of the new bridge.
Town contractors ARS and Santoro will be coordinating to resurface the Papermill Bridge located between Stone Tent Rd and Van Car Rd on Wednesday 11/6/2024. One lane will be closed starting at 6:30am and a full closure will take place from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Please use an alternate route.

Candlewood Lake Rd N: drainage work begins. Expect lane closures and short delays between Linden Ln and Sherry Ln, work is expected to last 3 weeks
Legion Rd: drainage work is complete and road reclamation begins, please avoid the area if possible, re-paving to start next week
Completed roads this season to date: Main St, Poplar St, Greenview Rd, April Dr, Morey Rd, Mine Hill Rd, Gaylord Rd, Newton Rd, Evans Hill Rd S, Waller Rd, Hillendale Dr and Hillendale Dr Ext.

Bradbury Rd
Howland Rd
Littlefield Rd
Carmen Hill Rd 1
Sullivan Rd
Old Town Park Rd
Red Cedar Dr
Ormsby Lane.
Sweeping for these roads is complete.
Town Contractor, Comer Contracting, will begin applying Rubberized Chip Seal on Aspetuck Ridge Rd starting Tuesday June 11(weather permitting) and when completed, will begin work on Candlewood Lake Rd South. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes during this time.
