DPW:
Tree Crew will be cleaning up downed trees on South Kent Rd, Wells Road and Tamarack Rd. (Expect Delays)
Maintenance Crew will berepairing sinkholes on Walker Brook Rd South and Colonial Ridge Rd. (Expect Delays)
Sweeping Crew will be working in the Gaylordsville area and Rt 7 area. (Expect Delays)
Mowing maintenance crews will be working in the areas of Old Town Park, Candlewood Lake Rd North and Candlewood Mountain. (Expect Delays)
Crew will be cleaning up kayak portages at Hidden Tresures and clearing around buoy anchors.
CSR truck will be handling various tasks around town and picking up recycling form town buildings.
**Wheaton Rd bridge. Please be aware the bridge is narrowed to one lane of alternating traffic until further notice, be mindful of the new signage. (Expect Delays, Obey new “Stop” signs)**
** Be aware there are new, temporary stop signs on VanCar Rd at Old Lantern in both directions. (Expect Delays, Obey new “Stop” signs)**
